Candidate's Forum

The Nutana Community Association will be hosting a candidates' forum on Thursday October 13th at 7:00 in the gymnasium of Nutana Collegiate on the corner of Victoria Avenue and 11th Street.

We have 7 people who have declared their intentions to date so we are looking forward to a very informative and interesting evening.

Each candidate will be given an opportunity to make a statement. Then each candidate will answer a series of questions which have been generated by community associations within the ward and which will have been given to candidates a week or so in advance for them to be able to prepare. Finally there will be questions from the floor and time for a brief closing statement from each candidate.

We are asking for your assistance in preparing the questions that candidates will be able to prepare in advance. Are there local neighbourhood issues that you would like candidates to comment upon? Contact us at hollistonca@hotmail.com

Thank you for your assistance in increasing community engagement in Ward 6!

Saskatoon Services for Seniors

Saskatoon Services for Seniors is a not-for-profit focusing on providing services that enable older adults (55+), seniors and physically challenged individuals to reside independently in their own homes for as long as possible. While we charge fees (most times), we use any revenues to subsidize clients who are unable to afford these services. In Saskatoon, a surprising number of older adults (55+), seniors, persons who have failing health and physically challenged individuals find that they can’t afford services that would allow them to stay in their own homes. We are trying to help them!

We are looking for new ways to reach those in need of home making, yard and snow services. You can find information on our website.
